About Kinda.

We're a purpose-led regenerative organisation rooted in Northern Tasmania — connecting people, families, and businesses to practical ways of living and working differently.

Who we are.

Kinda. is built around one belief: meaningful, sustainable change starts with connection, grows through action, and compounds over time.

In practice, that means community experiences, facilitation, and tools that make doing something feel possible – whether you’re a household trying to reduce waste, a business rethinking how you operate, or an educator shaping the values of the next generation. We’re not an authority on what sustainability should look like. We’re a connector, a convener, and a collaborator.

Kinda. Values

What guides us. Start small, go far

Progress over perfection, every time. We offer accessible tools and compassionate guidance because doing something – however imperfect – is always better than doing nothing.

Make it possible

Real, tangible action rooted in the local community. Not aspirational theory – practical steps that fit real life, real budgets, and real capacity.

Design for regeneration

Systems thinking, deep respect for Country, and a long-term vision of futures that don’t just sustain – they restore and regenerate.

Claire Doran

Founder

With a vision for building something meaningful, our founder brings a blend of big-picture thinking and hands-on experience. They set the tone for everything we do.

Rooted in Lutruwita.

Kinda. is proudly based in Northern Tasmania — a place of extraordinary natural beauty, tight-knit communities, and a growing movement of people committed to doing things differently.

We acknowledge the Palawa people as the traditional custodians of Lutruwita and are guided by Indigenous wisdom about caring for Country in all that we do.
